Woryna: I like that track

With thirty points on the board, Kacper Woryna holds fourth place in the provisional TAURON SEC 2025 standings. Will the Pole manage to finish with a championship medal for the second year in a row?

You finished last year's series in third place. Do you believe you can also end up on the TAURON SEC 2025 podium?

- Of course, there’s a chance. In Pardubice, I’ll race with hope, giving my all. I like that track. You can really build up speed there, which makes racing easier.

For the first time in your career, thanks to this year’s SGP Challenge final, you secured a spot in next year’s Individual World Championship series. Since your debut will coincide with exactly seventy years since your grandfather’s first championship starts, does that make it even more special for you?

- Journalists reminded me about that recently. It’s a fantastic thing, in a way serving as a link connecting our family tradition. In the 2026 FIM SGP, I want to show my best side, at least symbolically honoring my grandfather Antoni.

Who do you see as the favorites in Friday’s competition?

- Kacper Woryna (laughs). Certainly, Patryk Dudek, Leon Madsen, Andzejs Lebedevs, Nazar Parnitskyi, and Michael Jepsen Jensen will fight for the podium. However, the track will decide that. Some riders, having already secured their FIM SGP spot, will race without pressure, while others will approach the event calmly, practically done with their season.
