This Saturday, speedway fans can look forward to thrilling action from the SEC Challenge in Lonigo. For all supporters who cannot attend the stadium, a live broadcast has been arranged, allowing viewers to follow every heat and all the key events from the Italian track.
The SEC Challenge is the final qualifying stage for the Speedway Euro Championship. The best riders will compete for six coveted places in the SEC series. With so much at stake, excitement is guaranteed from the very first heat.
The starting lineup includes four Polish representatives. Paweł Przedpełski won the qualifying round in Mureck, Austria, while brothers Piotr and Przemysław Pawlicki both finished on the podium in the qualifying event in Stralsund. Maciej Janowski also delivered an excellent performance in Austria.
The most successful rider in SEC history competing in Lonigo will be Mikkel Michelsen. The Dane has been crowned European Speedway Champion three times. Meanwhile, veteran Nicolas Covatti has received a wildcard entry. For years, he has been one of the leading figures on both Argentine and Italian speedway tracks. In the past, at the Pista Santa Marina circuit, he was known for challenging higher-ranked rivals and making life difficult for them. In 2014, he came within a single point of qualifying for the Speedway Grand Prix.
The English-language live stream will be available on Fanseat. The price of the stream is €4.99.
