Only hours now separate us from the decisive outcomes in the qualifications for the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2025. Who will secure a spot in this year’s Individual European Championship? We will find out the answer to this question on Saturday evening.
There are definitely more favorites to advance than there are available spots. This year’s SEC Challenge field is full of riders who have claimed the most important speedway trophies. One thing is certain – experience in competitions of this rank is the key to success. Michael Jepsen Jensen and Przemysław Pawlicki certainly have it. Both the Dane and the Pole are among the world’s elite and are the main contenders for advancement.
The fight for participation in the Individual European Championship cycle also includes speedway’s ‘rising stars’ – Mateusz Cierniak and Bartłomiej Kowalski, Wiktor Przyjemski, and Nazar Parnitskyi. All four will have the chance to qualify for the main cycle for the first time in their careers. Among the participants in Sunday’s tournament are also riders who will be fighting to extend their ‘tenure’ in the Speedway Euro Championship. This group includes, among others, Dimitri Berge, Rasmus Jensen, Norick Blödorn, and Vaclav Milik.
