Kacper Woryna once again stood on the TAURON SEC podium after 1806 days. The Pole took second place during Saturday's round, which was held in Grudziądz, and thanks to his high point tally, he equaled the points of the interim leader, Andzejs Lebedevs.
From the first series, Woryna showed that he was capable of fighting for victory. The Pole triumphed in the main phase, which allowed him to advance to the final race without participating in the last chance heat. Although he had to acknowledge the superiority of Leon Madsen in the last race of the day, he had many reasons to be happy, as he last stood on the podium in 2019 during the competition in Vojens.
- The track in Grudziądz didn't surprise me at all. I rode really well, which is reflected in my result. Nevertheless, the feeling of missing out in the final race is really huge. However, that's now in the past, and I have to be satisfied with second place.
At the halfway point of TAURON SEC 2024, Woryna occupies second place in the interim standings, having the same amount of points as the leader, Andzejs Lebedevs.
- I am glad that I added more valuable points to the standings. I lost the final in Grudziądz, but the battle for high positions in TAURON SEC 2024 is not over yet.
