Seven regular participants of TAURON SEC 2024 will compete in the final of the FIM Speedway of Nations, which will take place this coming Saturday. On Wednesday, the second semifinal of the competition took place, with the Danes emerging victorious.

Due to the rainy weather, the event was not the easiest. The track in Manchester quickly tested the skills of the individual riders. The Danes performed the best. The team, led by Nicki Pedersen and Hans Andersen, secured a confident victory. The leader of the Danes was Anders Thomsen (17+1). Rasmus Jensen (14+2) and three-time Individual European Champion Mikkel Michelsen (9+1) also contributed their points.

The battle for the last spot guaranteeing advancement to Saturday's final was decided in the last chance heat, in which the Czech and Latvian teams faced each other. Ultimately, after a mistake made by Jan Kvech, the Latvians, led by Andzejs Lebedevs, secured their place in the final. The winner of the first round of TAURON SEC 2024 in Debrecen scored eighteen points. In one of the races, another regular participant of the Individual European Championships from Latvia, Jevgenijs Kostigovs, also competed.
