We now know the starting list for the inaugural round of the TAURON SEC 2024, which will take place on June 8 in Debrecen.
The TAURON Speedway Euro Championship is a four-round series in which riders compete for the gold medal in the Individual European Championships and a place in the FIM Speedway Grand Prix 2025. This year, the rounds will take place in Debrecen (June 8), Grudziądz (July 20), Güstrow (August 24), and Chorzów (September 21).
In the first heat of the day, Mikkel Michelsen will begin his title defense. The Dane will compete against Dimitri Berge, Vaclav Milik, and Andzejs Lebedevs. SEC Challenge winner Maciej Janowski will start his campaign in the second heat, while in the third race, there will be a direct showdown between Anders Thomsen and Leon Madsen, who are among the main favorites to win in Debrecen. In the last race of the first series, local favorite Norbert Magosi will fight for his debut points in the Individual European Championships.
