Leon Madsen took the third place during the Saturday's round of TAURON SEC, which was held in Łódź. Thanks to the high score, the Dane advanced to the second place in the interim classification, in which he is losing only one point to the leader, Janusz Kołodziej.
It seemed like the Saturday will be a show of Leon Madsen. Individual European Champion from 2018 scored 14 points in the main phase and overtook Kołodziej in the interim classification of the series. In the final, the Dane chose gate A, which - as it turned out - it wasn't the best choice.
In the final, Madsen was chasing Kołodziej and Kubera, but he crossed the finish line as the third. These results mean, that before the final in Pardubice, Madsen is losing only one point to Janusz Kołodziej.
- I am a little bit disappointed. It was going so well, I felt it was my night, but I think we made a small mistake in the final with the gate pick. It was a tough race in the final, we were crossing lines all the time. I am only one point behind and it is still much to win in Pardubice.
