Last Saturday Rasmus Jensen made his debut as a permanent participant in the TAURON SEC 2022, The Dane had some bad luck as two engine failures deprived him of valuable points. Particularly costly was the one in heat nine, in which he was leading the race and due to an explosion he reached the finish line in third place.

Jensen advanced to this year's TAURON SEC series from the Challenge, which was held in Krsko.

In Rybnik, the Dane started with zero, but won his the next race. He was also on the lead in the ninth race of the day. The Danish Champion was riding for another win, but his engine failed at the last corner.

- I guess this is what you can call a very unlucky day.

Interestingly, there were two failures in race 15. A few meters after the start, David Bellego had to go to the grass, while the Dane's bike blew up after three laps. Due to the fact that there was no rival behind who could overtake him, the Dane decided that he would finish the race by pushing his bike for more than one lap. This behaviour was met with an enthusiastic reaction from the crowd.

- My engine blew up, and we had to take the spare bike. It's probably two or three years since I blew up the engine, and the second one exploded too! We had to get an engine from the van and just managed to put it in before two minutes were on, so I raced my last heat on a fully cold engine, which is not good.

In his last start, Jensen made it to the finish line in fourth place and finished the meeting with five point.
