Vaclav Milik took the last, 16th place during the first round of the TAURON SEC, which was held in Rybnik. The Czech rider scored just one point and, as admits himself, the main reason for this situation were mistakes made during the setup.
Milik received a permanent 'wild card' for this year's cycle of the Individual European Championships. The Czech rider has an extra motivation to achieve a good result this year, as the TAURON SEC 2022 final will be held in Pardubice on September 23rd.
From the start of the competition in Rybnik, Milik struggled to get the optimal speed. He scored his first point in the third series of starts.
As the rider admits, the changes made in settings did not bring the right results.
- I hope I'll forget about this meeting as soon as possible, because it was a terrible one. Setup wasn't right just from the beginning. Instead of changing for the better, it was getting worse. I was racing here a few times, I have a lot of notes and I was using them, instead of doing what I feel. It wasn't the right decision and I won't do that again.
Vaclav Milik is not looking for excuses, and he will fight for a much better result already on the August 6th in Güstrow.
- I think the track changed, but it was the same for everyone. Mistake made in Rybnik are mine.
