Bartosz Zmarzlik won the first round of FIM Speedway Grand Prix 2022, which was held in Gorican earlier today. Four permanent participants of SGP are also permanent riders of this year's Speedway Euro Championship series. Mikkel Michelsen took third place.
The current Individual European Champion won three races, but his speed was visible in the other ones as well. At the end, Michelsen scored 16 points and took the third place in the final heat of the day.
Leon Madsen was fifth. 2018 European Champion scored 12 points and he ended the meeting after the semi-final, in which he crossed the finish line just behind Anders Thomsen and Maciej Janowski.
Both, Daniel Bewley and Patryk Dudek finished after the regular phase of the meeting. The Brit scored 6 points and took the 11th place, while Dudek finished 12th with 6 points scored as well.
