Lublin is one of the oldest cities in Poland. It is located on the eastern part of the country, at the Lublin Upland and is called as the capitol of the Eastern Poland. On August 15th, 1317, Lublin got the town rights through the royal privilege from king Władysław Łokietek. Today, it's one of the biggest cities in Poland and its rich tradition through 7 centuries, makes it exceptional. Lublin is a magical place, attracting with its unique climate, rich architecture and beautiful monuments. It is also a city full of inspirations, where awareness of the history inspires the future. It is here, where the renowned, international art events, theatre and music festivals, presenting the modern art, are held. Lublin's architecture is not only the Old Town and historic buildings, but also a sacred architecture. These buildings were made in many different style periods - from gothic to modern times. Next to the Cracow Gate, second famous architectural symbol of the city is the Lublin Castle. Its electing is credited to king Bolesław Chrobry.
Andzejs Lebedevs didn’t win in any Speedway Euro Championship round this year. Despite that, his good, equal form led him to final in every competition and allowed him to win the European championship.
Good beginning gave him a chance to chase the leader Andzejs Lebedevs. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t read the surface changes as good as his rival. That didn’t allow him to take the gold. At the same time, Russian closed the gap between him and Vaclav Milik and finally overtook Czech in general classification
This year's SEC was the first one for Andrey Kudriashov, in which he performed in all of the four rounds. Bronze medalist of Speedway World Cup is satisfied with results he achieved.
Krzysztof Kasprzak became the winner of Speedway Euro Championship Final Round, which was taken in Lublin. However, "KK" didn't manage to defend bronze medal, which he reached for, one year back. This time, he was 4th.
Before last Speedway Euro Championship, Vaclav Milik was the biggest favourite to take the title. Czech finished competition in Lublin finished 6th. It resulted in him losing 2nd position in general classification. At the same time, he took bronze.
Krzysztof Kasprzak won the final round of SEC, which took place in Lublin. Andrzejs Lebedevs became the new Individual European Champion. Silver was taken by Artem Laguta, and the bronze medal went to Vaclav Milik. Andreas Jonsson and Krzysztof Kasprzak earned the right to stay in the cycle.
