Last year you took the second place in Speedway Best Pairs Cup. Do You rate it as a disappointment, or success?
- I think that all athletes wants to be number one. With that in mind we was quite happy to end up second. All riders rate the Best Pairs high and it was a strong lineup last year like it will be this year as well.
What did you miss to get final victory and what is the plan to achieve it this year?
- We just needed the last bit of luck last year. If we all make points in every outing and have the needed luck, we can achieve the gold this year.
I don’t know if you are aware of the fact that you were the most effective rider of last year Best Pairs series. It seems that you felt well at every stadium, even if the Landshut round was quite painful for You. What are Your memories from the events in Torun, Landshut and Eskilstuna?
- I wasn’t aware of that. When you are racing together as a team you always try to help your teammates. To win the Best Pairs you need a good team effort. It was three fantastic places to race. In Torun you are in Poland which are now a days homeland for speedway with great fans. In Landshut you have all the brilliant and enthusiastic German fans who creates a fantastic atmosphere. In Eskilstuna you get a fantastic track and it has always been something special for me to race in Sweden.
The inauguration, season opener, as usual will be on MotoArena. You always underlined that it is good track for racing. Have anything changed since last year for You here?
- No, i still think it’s one of the best tracks for racing. There is difference lines to race and you always have a chance to pass.
Second round will take place in Guestrow, where You have won first round of SEC 2014. What are Your memories and opinion about this specific track ?
- It’s also a good choice of track for a big speedway event. The crowd are fantastic and it’s always a good atmosphere. The track is made for racing. You can be last from the gate and still get first when you reach the checkered flag
Final round of Best Pairs this year takes place in Esbjerg. Is it anything special and extraordinary for You, or it doesn't matter where the event is taken?
- Of course it’s special when you race in your home country. But no matter where you race in the world you always give 100 percent of yourselves.
If you were to encourage fans to come at stadium in Toruń in a few words, what would you say to them?
- Don’t miss the first big meeting of the year. It will be a big event and a great show for the fans to watch.
