Argentinian rider, starting with an Italian license. Four-time medalist of the Individual Argentinian Championship (3 x gold, 1 x bronze). Triple medalist of the Individual Italian Championship (1x gold, 2 x silver). Golden medalist of the Club Pairs' Italian Championship. Triple medalist of the Italian Team Championship. In this year's Speedway Euro Championship holds the position of a first reserve. He was extremely close to reaching the promotion as a permanent participant, however while riding in front, noticed a red light turned by the referee. It was because of Tomas Jonasson falling on the track and the heat had to be repeated. At this second attempt, Covatti lost the start and ultimately didn't go through to the TOP 7 of this meeting.

In Güstrow, he will replace Jonas Kylmaekorpi, who got injured during the Nice PLŻ meeting. In his career, Covatti reached for many champion titles in Argentina or Italy, but it has to be remembered that start in Güstrow will not be Covatti's debut in SEC. In 2013, he started in the round taking place in Gorican, where he got 4 points and in the last round in Rzeszów, which he ended with 1 point.
