Before last Speedway Euro Championship, Vaclav Milik was the biggest favourite to take the title. Czech finished competition in Lublin finished 6th. It resulted in him losing 2nd position in general classification. At the same time, he took bronze.

Milik, since the beginning of tourmanent, had been riding very well. What caused that his duel against Andrzejs Lebedevs lasted until the end. A lot of about riders in SEC 2017 said fact, that Milik with 10 points was classificated on 6th position.

- I’m pretty happy about my performance. Congratulations for other guys, because we made a huge show until last races. I regret the exclusion in semifinal. I could gain a silver medal. - said Milik.

Czech had a bad luck in the end of the tournée. In the race-off, he faced Przemysław Pawlicki, Krzysztof Kasprzak and Kenneth Bjerre. A dangerous situation unfolded in the first lap. Vaclav Milik crashed with Przemysław Pawlicki, and that caused them both falling to the ground. The judge decided to exclude Milik from the repeat.
