Krzysztof Kasprzak is still bronze European Championship medalist. Before last Speedway Euro Championship 2017 round, which will take place in Lublin, Pole is classified on 5th position in general classification.
„Kasper” situation is not comfortable. „KK” still has some chances to take a medal, but he still has to look at Mateusz Szczepaniak and Przemysław Pawlicki, who can steal last position in GC from him, which is allowing to start in next season championship. What goals does Kasprzak have before last SEC 2017 round in Lublin?
- I’ll try to take a medal! Last year I missed just 1 point to win the championship, so I think that this year my score will be enough to finish on the podium – said Krzysztof Kasprzak.
- Track in Lublin is pretty big and fast. You have to have a lot of power in your engines if you want to be at the top. We’ll try to find the best setups. I hope that it’s going to be good tournament for me – added Pole.
In this year's SEC, Kasprzak scored 24 points and is classified on 5th position with 6 points loss to 3rd place. He also has only 2 points of advantage on Mateusz Szczepaniak, classified on a 6th place. During 3 previous rounds, Kasprzak promoted to the final just once. It was in Gustrow, where „KK” finished third. In Toruń and Hallstavik, he finished racing after basic round.
- Some points I lost in Hallstavik I missed the most. I had some problems with shoulder and the track was also dificult. It was hard for me – finished „KK”.
