Andreas Jonsson stepped on a lowest podium level at the third round of Speedway Euro Championship 2017, which took place in Hallstavik. Thanks to his 14 points, gathered in this meeting, "AJ" advanced to the third position overall.

Jonsson was one of the candidates to win in Hallstavik. In front of his home crowd, Swede had a great performance, proved by 4 heat wins.

- I'm happy with my performance, I got a lot of points, which made me ranked in TOP 3 - Jonsson said.

Despite his huge experience, "AJ" admits he made 2 mistakes. One of them prevented him from reaching for the win in final.

- My first heat wasn't a good one. Bike was fast, but not at the start, which was crucial in that part of the meeting.

Before the last round of SEC 2017, Andreas Jonsson is third overall with 32 points, just like Artem Laguta. Vice-champion of the world 2011 remains calm and currently is not thinking about a medal.

- There's still a lot of time left until the last round and it's hard to say anything right now. We will see what engines will I have and how will I adjust to this track.

Final round of SEC 2017 is in Lublin. Swedish rider admits that he hasn't started there a lot.

- I've been there couple times. It was many years ago, so I don't remember well how to race there. We'll have a practice and after that I'm looking forward to a good score in Lublin - Jonsson ended.

Final round of Speedway Euro Championship 2017 – Lublin, September 16th, 6.30 PM CET.
