It's tomorrow, when we're about to inaugurate the rivalry in Speedway Euro Championship series. Cycle starts at the speedway's sanctuary - Motoarena in Toruń.
Friday's event will be the second time of SEC taking place in Toruń. First, historical round of the Euro Championship took place on June 20, 2015 and brought lots of unforgettable memories to all the fans attending this event. On this day, it was Nicki Pedersen celebrating the ultimate win and next to him on the rostrum, there were Paweł Przedpełski (starting with a wild card) and future European Champion Emil Sayfutdinov. Now, we're only hours away from Europe's top riders making the magic happen at Motoarena - stadium, which was created for such events as Speedway Euro Championship.
- European Championship has become more and more popular all over the speedway world. Fact that in this year, Toruń once again hosts the first round of SEC, confirms that our city has the best possible place to do it - Motoarena. Stadium is prepared in a way that anyone who's interested in speedway, could spend his time well at the top-notch speedway event. European Championship is back on the right track - Mayor of Toruń, Michał Zaleski said at the press conference.
Speedway is the number one sport in the city of Copernicus. It's here, where the top speedway events take place every year including Speedway Best Pairs, which is opening the speedway season in Europe. After a one-year break, main project of One Sport company - Speedway Euro Championship is coming back to where its idea was born and in this year, it's having its 5th birthday.
- It's a huge event coming. For the second time, in our city, this big range sport event will take place. This tournament is a big promotion of our city. I would like to encourage everyone to come to the stadium to watch it live - June 30, 7 PM - Michał Zaleski ended.
