First riders secured their spots for the SEC Challenge, which will take place on May 20 in Gorican. Eleven riders made it from three semi-finals, which were held in Nagyhalasz (Hungary), Mureck (Austria) and Terenzano (Italy).
The one in Hungary started with Przemysław Pawlicki's domination. Polish rider confirmed his great disposition by winning in the additional heat with Mikkel Bech, thanks to which he got the top spot in Hungarian tournament.
Except Pole and Dane, Andrey Karpov (Ukraine) got promotion to the SEC Challenge. Lack of Janusz Kołodziej can be a suprirse - Pole was fourth. Unfortunately, this position didn't make him advance.

Second of the semi-finals, held in Mureck, ended with no bigger surprises. From the very beginning, it was Michael Jepsen Jensen and Andzejs Lebedevs dominating the meeting. Latvian rider defeated Dane in the additional heat, which gave him the top spot. Two representatives of Poland: Adrian Miedziński and Kacper Gomólski also got the promotion. Gomólski made it after additional heat, where he defeated Aleksandr Loktaev, Viktor Kulakov and Mikkel Michelsen.

Third semi-final of the qualifications to SEC Challenge in Terenazno ended with a sure win by Timo Lahti. Finn, along with Martin Smolinski and Kenneth Bjerre made the promotion after main series. In the race-off heat, Andrey Kudriashov, Jakub Jamróg, Vadim Tarasenko and Linus Sundstroem faced each other. First attempt brought falls of Pole and Swede, however referee Pavel Vana made a decision of repeating heat with full line up. In second attempt, Andrey Kudriashov finished as first and as fourth rider secured his spot in the SEC Challenge.
