The Danish Motorsport Awards is coming! Our star, Nicki Pedersen, has been nomitated for three prizes.

The 2016 SEC Champion has huge chances to win three categories. He has well-known and popular rivals in one of them, “Personality of the year”. The biggest favorite is F1 driver Kevin Magnussen. However, Pedersen, drag racing star Stig Neergaard and motocross rider Kjer Olsen are a few steps behind him.

The best speedway rider in Europe also has been nominated in “Performance of the year” category. The Odense-born man should beat only the Danish U-21 speedway team, who won the bronze in U-21 Team World Champoinship.

The most interesting race could have taken place in “Speedway Rider of the year” category. Pedersen will fight with 5-times Danish champion Niels Kristian Iversen, the rising star Patrick Hansen, and European 85cc Champion Benjamin Basso.

The prizes will be given in two more categories – “Event of the year” and “Talent of the year”. In the first one, the chapter has nominated SGP in Horsens, Rally Denmark and Motocross National Champs Final. In the second one, Patrick Hansen and two race drivers – Nicklas Nielsen and Max Klinkby-Silver – have chance to win.
