The best European riders will fight in Sweden once again. Third round of next year's Speedway Euro Championship will be held in Hallstavik. Meeting is planned on August 5th.

For the first time and so far the last, Sweden hosted SEC participants in 2015. On August 15th in Kumla, Russian Emil Sayfutdinov took the win with maximum points. After 2-year break, series is back to the northern part of Europe. This time, it will be hosted by Hallstavik, located 100 km from Stockholm.

- After recently ended league season - fantastic one for our club and Rospiggarna fans, we felt it's the right time to make a step forward - said Micke Teurnberg, Hallstavik's club coach.

Team from HZ Bygg Arena grabbed the Swedish Champions title for the first time in 14 years and next year, it will host the third round of SEC.
- Meeting is planned on August 5th, which is a perfect date. During the summer, our region is visited by many tourists. Therefore, we expect a big interest coming from fans - says Micke Teurnberg.

Let's add that Hallstavik is a small town, habited by 4500 people. However, in the recent years, average attendance was bigger than that. This year's final was watched by 8000 people at HZ Bygg Arena.

- We have the best audience in Sweden - says Micke Teurnberg. - Because of that, I am sure that a great show is about to happen here. Track in Hallstavik is short, but fast. It's got many lines, which always effects in great racing.
