Meeting in Togliatti wasn't lucky for the Poles. Not only, they did not start in the final, but also none of them got the right to compete in the race-off heat. After all, Krzysztof Kasprzak was the best among them and despite a poor beginning, he managed to reach 8 points and ended as 7th.
- It could have been much better. Unfortunately, I got excluded in my second start and two precious points were taken away from me. Later on, I missed them to appear in the final - Kasprzak summed up his performance.
Looking at his example, it is clear how every point - lost or gained, has got a huge meaning in the rivalry for the title. Kasprzak has gathered 24 points so far. Two more would give him a spot in the TOP5 and would let him think about the ultimate win in Speedway Euro Championship.
- Of course, it's a pity, I did not get these points. They would probably let me start in the final, after which I could have been the leader of overall classification - said Individual European Champion 2003. - I shouldn't have lost them. In Togliatti, I lost three and in Güstrow - four. It is easy to count where would I be while having them.
KK does not give up, though and before the final of Speedway Euro Championship, planned on September 17 in Rybnik, he has got one aim.
- There is no other way. I get the maximum and jump on the rostrum of European Championship - announced Polish rider.
