After last year's promotion to Speedwya Euro Championship, not many gave him a chance in these series. However, Vaclav Milik showed that he can ride and get some good results. Despite his lack of promotion to SEC 2016, Czech got the trust credit from the organizers, who gave him the wild card.
Born in 1993, "Vacek" is a son of famous former rider Vaclav Milik senior. From the beginning of his career, he was presenting incredible skills. It's worth adding that he was really capably led by his father, that gave a significant progress.
Finally, at the age od 22 he went to the club from Ekstraliga in Poland - Betard Sparta Wrocław. Right from the start, he got a solid spot in team's line up. After seven heats of last year's season, he had 13 points, that gave him place in series' top. Later, though, some poorer heats came and ultimately, Vaclac didn't get the promotion to SEC 2016.
Beginning of thr current season started really well for Milik. Right now, he's got 11th heat average in world's best league - PGE Ekstraliga. Czech had a small break recently, after his hand's injury, that happened at the track in Zielona Góra, but after his comeback he had a great performance in his team's league match.
People from Czech Republic will surely be watching him with hope and optimism. It will start on July 16 in German Güstrow. Will Vaclav be able to make a surprise and stand at the podium of Individual European Championship?
