Tuesday traditionally was the Day for swedish Elitserien meetings. From four fixtures defintely the most interesting one was in Kumla. Plenty of action speedway fans had also in Eskilstuna. Unfortunately very poor meeting was in Vastervik where home team smashed riders from Stockholm.
Indianerna Kumla - Dackarna Malilla 45:45
That battle was a real thriller which took a breath away from the fans chests. Piotr Protasiewicz and Niels Kristian Iversen were tryin’ to do everything to stop the away team. Pepe scored 11 and Puk paid 13 from five. Away team could count on flyin’ Kangaroo Darcy Ward (13 points) and Dane Mikkel Michelsen. He have a poor performance in polish league but in Sweden is much better. On Tuesday he collected paid 15 from seven. From the heat number twelve was draw and not even one team could change the score so it finished like this.
Smederna Eskilstuna - Vargarna Norrkoeping 43:47
In the hometown of Magnus Zettestroem two of SEC Finals Rider gave a big show. In home team fantastic was Grigorij Łaguta who were unbeaten in all six heats. For Vargarna great meeting had Nicki Pedersen. “Power” collected paid 12 from five. From the second part of the meeting away team took control and they didn’t give it back till the end of the fixture.
Elit Vetlanda - Piraterna Motala 52:38
Vetlanda riders didn’t let Stefan’s Andersson Piraterna for more. Motala team had to be familiar with lost against Home team in chich the great performance had Jarosław Hampel (12 points). Really good on that day was Slovakian international Martin Vaculik - scorer of paid eleven from five rides. In Piraterna only Greg Hancock scored more than 9 points. American international collected 13 from five.
Vastervik Speedway - Hammarby Sztokholm 69:21
Without Grzegorz Walasek Team from Stockholm didn’t do anything in a beautiful Vastervik. After six heats home team were leading by 22 points. Finally they won by 48 points. Paid maximum had for home Vastervik Troy Batchelor. Nice meeting for Hans Andersen aswell (paid 10 from five). Danish international is in good disposition before the first SEC 2013 final in Gdańsk on Saturday.
