Piotr Pawlicki was one of the most unlucky riders last season. Just few days before SEC Challenge in Toruń, he got the concussion and wasn't able to participate in this meeting. What's worse, he was seen as one of the favourites.
Rider, who will be still representing his club - FOGO Unia Leszno in 2016, says that he'd like to race in both: world championship and European one.
- About SEC, damn, this European Championship is a great thing and I really really wanted to get the promotion in the last season. It was one of my main aims... Unfortunately, this ill-fated injury got me out of the Challenge in Toruń and I didn't become a permanent participant of this cycle. My only chance to ride was in Ostrów Wielkopolski (4th round of SEC 2015) and to be honest, I was really impressed with its professional organization. I didn't have to worry about anything, simply focus on racing with the best riders. SEC is another great event - big prestige, so if there'll be a chance to compete in both Grand Prix and SEC, which we'd love to do, I'll do my best to advance to the European Championship. All we care, as riders, is being simply the best. We would like to reach for the medals in world and European championship. - says Piotr Pawlicki.
As younger Pawlicki brother underlined, riding with an eagle on the chest is extremely important for him and every time he competes, he wants to proudly represent his country.
- I feel adrenaline and want to win every heat. I don't think about representing particular side, all I focus on is winning. Of course, eagle on the chest is a great honour and I would like to do my best and worthily represent Poland's strips. - ended Pawlicki.
