Past season of SEC series was full of interesting heats, a load of emotions and a great engagement by all the riders. However, it was three of them who bounced significantly from the others and at the end of the cycle, got their triumph with a huge advantage.
Antonio Lindbaeck, who was chasing Nicki Pedersen till the very last heat, ultimately ended his SEC starts with 51 points. Next two riders, who secured their places for next year had 18 points less than Swede! The differences between European Champion and other riders were huge. This season, Emil Sayfutdinov, Nicki Pedersen and Antonio Lindbaeck were the most powerful riders, without any doubt, and their 3 top places were clearly well-deserved.
If not for Emil's injury, we could suppose that he would go through to the final. That would be the first case ever, when three riders would advance to the final of every single round of the series. Unfortunately, Russian's injury did not let us witness this historical achievement, but still there is a lot ahead of us. New season - new challenges!
