Speedway is really impressive by its simplicity. It has to be fast, loud and strongly and, what is most important, it is clear for everybody even for layman who is on a stadium for the first time. – says the mayor of Landshut, Hans Rampf.
On the 10th May there is second round of Speedway Best Pairs Cup. Two weeks before this great event the mayor of Landshut has shared his feelings about organizing the event on such level with fans.
- From the town’s point of view, the presence of such event causes that we can’t reduce only to our sandy track. The presence of so many great riders and Eurosport cause that doing this event is not only showing how open for speedway Landshut is.
The stadium in Landshut was created in 1974. Mayor Ramph emphasizes that it was the place of many emotional tournaments which will stay in German fans’ memory forever.
- On the stadium which is located directly by past mill (now Ellermühle brewery), speedway found its place in 1974. It was this place, this stadium where fans experienced great emotions and celebrated winnings. – ends Hans Rampf.
