Robert Lambert is the vice-leader of the TAURON SEC 2020 interim classification. During the second round in Bydgoszcz, the Brit scored 10 points.

After an impressive performance in Toruń, this time Lambert finished the competing after the "last chance" heat, in which he reached the finish line on the third place. The British rider admits that in the second part of the tournament he struggled with adjusting his bikes to the track surface. This happened due to the starting number assigned to him during the draw.

- We started the meeting really well, with two wins and then we lost a little bit with a setup. We couldn't get exactly on point. It's pretty tough to get number one. After every track ride, when the track is a little bit slick and they put the water on it's pretty tough to figure out, which line is a good one. It was a tough day but we still got a few more rounds to go and I'm in a good position, even if I feel today, that it wasn't a complete success. But I'm still positive and I'm still happy. We’ve had good races here. It was the first time I've been racing on this track so I'm pleased by my performance - said Lambert.

The third round of the series will be held coming Wednesday in Gniezno. Robert Lambert stressed that if he maintains the current form, he will count in the fight for the Individual European Championshp title. Moreover, the Brit admits that the Gniezno track should not cause him any major problems.

- It's a good track, I had some good memories from there and also in the SEC as well so I'm looking forward to it. I'm gonna be focused on my performance there and as long as I will keep my performances on that level, I'm still in the game – the Brit ended.

The third round of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2020 will be held on Wednesday, 15th July at 7 PM. Tickets for the event are available via eBilet.pl.
