Danish 28-year-old, Michael Jepsen Jensen is no stranger to the TAURON SEC – this will be his third year competing in the European Championships. He finished 5th in 2017 and 6th in 2019 and is hoping to better his performance this time.
"One of the hardest things for me last year was my bike struggles in the beginning of the season. And for my SEC result which dropped in Toruń. I was super sick up to and during last season’s round,” he says honestly.
“I am really looking forward to the challenges and the battles,” he says about the forthcoming TAURON SEC series, “I enjoy the differences in the different venues, but Toruń is, for sure, the one that I know the best. I’ve done three seasons at the club and always enjoy going there,” he confesses.
But now racing for Zielona Gora in Ekstraliga, the Dane is cautious about his chances on Saturday, admitting the Coronavirus situation makes everything a bit different this year for all the riders.
“The main goal for all us is to be on top,” he says, “But it’s still early season, so many things will come into play, I’ve had a few issues that I hope will be all sorted and figured out by Saturday’s meeting,” he say candidly.
Jepsen Jensen is no stranger to the TAURON SEC or Torun, and now we only have a short wait to see who will be on top after the first round of this year’s competition.
