On 15th of July, Gniezno will welcome the best speedway riders in Europe, who are going to compete in the third round of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship 2020. Tickets for the event are available via eBilet.pl.
For the second time in history of the Individual European Championships, Gniezno will host one of the rounds of the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship series. The riders will arrive at the stadium at Wrzesińska street on 15th of July.
The other news is that the 2017 Individual World Vice-Champion Patryk Dudek will start in Gniezno as a wild card. For the Pole it will be another adventure with the Individual European Championships.
- I am extremely grateful that I will get a chance in the third round of the Individual European Championships in Gniezno. I already had a chance to compete in the cycle a few years ago and I must admit that TAURON SEC has made a really big progress. As far as the Gniezno circuit is concerned, I have only good memories of it, so I will be happy to come there and fight for a good result. Of course, I hope that the winner of the Championships will be a Pole because I would like my compatriot to be the first to get a promotion to the Grand Prix cycle. Of course, everyone will want to win TAURON SEC - said Patryk Dudek.
The previous meeting in Gniezno took place on 23rd of June 2018. Back then the winner at the city stadium was Jarosław Hampel and Antonio Lindbaeck together with Kai Huckenbeck joined him on the podium.
This time, Gniezno will host the third round of TAURON SEC and speedway fans will have the chance to see the performances of Nicki Pedersen, Leon Madsen and Krzysztof Kasprzak.
