For a long time, 2019 was a really tough season for Paweł Przedpełski. Polish rider couldn't be satisfied with both his starts in the league and individual meetings. Luckily, a successful ending occurred, which may give a bright shine for the future. One of the main reasons of thinking so is Pole's performance in Chorzów.

Przedpełski had been handed a wild card for TAURON SEC 2019, many doubted in this choice. Unfortunately for Przedpełski, round in Guestrow gave malcontents a reason to be on top in this argument. Only three points gathered, tumble after hitting Bartosz Smektała and ending the rivalry after the main series - it was a meeting that wanted to be forgotten by Przedpełski as soon as possible.

It was all about to be better in Toruń, because he knows Motoarena more than anyone in this line up. Rider from Toruń still has got many fans in this city and they supported him strongly during the second round of TAURON SEC 2019. At the end of July, we saw much better Przedpełski than we did in Germany. He missed the race-off heat only by inches. In the last heat of the main series, Pole had attacked leading Nicki Pedersen, but Dane closed the gate and did not let Pole through. This one point was decisive.

After this light in the tunnel which appeared in Toruń, Przedpełski's fans had counted on another progress in Vojens. Unluckily, meeting in Denmark was a disaster. Only two points gathered, tape added to his stat sheet - that's a sufficient summary of his performance.
Pole had gone to Chorzów to cross this bad impression and that's exactly what he did. Fans gathered at the legendary Śląski Stadium couldn't believe their eyes. Thirteen points in the main series, impressive speed of his bike and a confident racing must have impressed many. Great result let him go through to the big final.

And there... a history was written, widely commented in the speedway world. Przedpełski crossed the finish line as third, overtaking Kacper Woryna, which deprived Woryna of his medal. Some felt resentment, but at the end of the day these are individual meetings!
Podium in Chorzów gives hope for a bright future. If we connect it with good performances in Włókniarz Częstochowa, we get a great ending of the season. Przedpełski most definitely has got a huge potential and a spark of it could be noticed at the Śląski Stadium. Hopefully, in 2020 he will follow this path!
