Individual European Champion two years ago, Andzejs Lebedevs will perform during the third round of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship in Vojens. Latvian will replace Robert Lambert, who withdrew from Saturday's competition due to injury.
Lebedevs has had 85 performances in the Individual European Championship series. The best for him was the 2017 season, when he reached the championship title. Latvian is the only Individual European Champion who won the title and did not win any of the rounds of the cycle. After a failed performance at TAURON SEC 2018, Lebedevs lost his place in the stake. The Latvian representative took part in the qualifying rounds for this year's IME series, however, during the final race in Nagyhalasz, he took 14th place.
The third round of TAURON Speedway Euro Championship will be held in Vojens, August 10. Tickets for this event are available at www.speedwayeuro.com.
