On April 27th, at Golęcin track in Poznań, second qualifying round to SEC Challenge 2019 will be held. Starting list include riders of local club - Power Duck Iveston PSŻ Poznań.

As every year, 64 riders from all around Europe are going to stand and fight in Speedway Euro Championship qualifications. Poznań will be one of four host cities for this qualifying stage. Their 370 meters long track will be the arena of battle between TAURON SEC 2018 finalists: Kai Huckenbeck and Andriy Kudriashov. Local fans will surely support their favourites - David Bellego, Vladimir Borodulin and Eduard Krcmar. Other qualifying rounds will be held in Gorican (27.04), Rivne (01.05), Krsko (01.05). SEC Challenge is planned on May 25th in Nagyhalasz (Hungary).

For this moment, there are only 5 riders with a sure spot in SEC 2019 line up. This list includes last year's TOP 5: Leon Madsen, Jarosław Hampel, Robert Lambert, Mikkel Michelsen and Antonio Lindbaeck. Next ten spots are secured for the ones, who will go through qualification rounds or will receive wild cards from the organizers.

Normal ticket - 25 PLN
Reduced-fare - 18 PLN
Under 15 y.o. - 1 PLN

Reduced-fare ticket is entitled to students under 24 y.o. (exact date of birth is decisive) and people over 65 y.o. (exact date of birth is decisive).

Laguta: Everything worked as it should

 Grigory Laguta won the first round of this year's Individual European Championship series. The Russian won 15 points in Güstrow and is a leader in the transitional classification of the cycle.

Madsen: It's my destiny

Leon Madsen finished second in the TAURON Speedway Euro Championship in Güstrow on Saturday. Defender of the title scored 11 points.

Smektała: I'm happy with my debut

Bartosz Smektała, in his debut performance in the TAURON SEC cycle, took the third place during the Saturday competition in Güstrow. The Polish representative emphasizes that participation in this year's Individual European Championships is of great importance to him.

Grigorii Laguta wins in Guestrow

Grigorii Laguta topped the podium in the first round of Tauron SEC in Guestrow. Title's defender - Leon Madsen ended as 2nd and Bartosz Smektała came third. Antonio Lindbaeck ended the meeting right next to the podium, coming as fourth. Laguta became the first leader of the Tauron SEC 2019 series.

Lambert: I'm not afraid of any challenges

Robert Lambert made his debut in the Speedway Euro Championship last season. The young Briton showed himself very well and ended the struggle with the bronze medal on the account. Before him there is a chance for further successes in the European championship. Before the start of this year's struggle, he talks about his memories and reflections related to the competition in the Individual European Championships, and also talks about goals and motivations for the season 2019.

Hampel: I want to fight for the the championship, but I actually assess the situation

"If it was not the injury that happened to me at the beginning of the season, I would probably be in a completely different place," says Jarosław Hampel, European runner-up 2018. The Pole is not in top form yet, but he believes that he will play equipment and will be able to fight for the top places in the SEC 2019 cycle.
