Krzysztof Kasprzak, in TAURON Speedway Euro Championship, was 11th in general classification. - It was a tough year for me in the SEC – he said.
In four european championships rounds, Kasprzak scored only 24 points. Also, he can’t score 10 points or more in any competition. His season best was 8 – in Gniezno. Interestigly, it was a beggining of the fight. Later it was just worse.
- It was a tough year, difficult period. Every competition took place on the track, that I don’t like. Only in Gustrow I finished on the podium in the past. That one in Chorzów was pretty specific. It was tough to fight this year – said Kasprzak.
- I don’t know that I will try to take part in SEC in 2019 season. I have to think about it – he added.
This year’s TAURON Speedway Euro Championship finished on Śląski Stadium. It was a specific experience for 34-year old rider? - Not for me, because I rode in Cardiff and Warsaw. For other guys, who had first chance to ride on as huge stadium, it was epic, for sure. Śląski is a nice stadium for us and for fans – said Kasprzak.
Also, what Stal Gorzów rider think about surface on Śląski? Organizers have to make some changes or everything was right?
- The track was pretty nice. There weren’t any holes, but we hadn’t a lot of options to attack in the field. On the practise I was a little bit scared, but everything went right. OF course, everything were safe. I think, the future there can be fantastic – finished Kasprzak.
