Jarosław Hampel started Tauron Speedway Euro Championship cycle in terrific style. In Gniezno he was the best and also he built solid advantage in general classification – of course emotions went down. That was some time ago, so I’m keeping focus on other important competitions – said rider.

Before first Tauron Speedway Euro Championship round, Hampel had two relatively weak meetings in Polish PGE Ektraliga. In Tarnów he scored three points with two bonuses and on hometrack, against Get Well Toruń, he scored only 6 points. Earlier, he lost his position in national Team, which caused him not being able to take part in Speedway of Nations. For sure, in Gniezno Hampel showed, that every information about his worse form were fake – from the first race until the finish, it was good performance for me, what’s made me happy – he said.

In basic part, Hampel lost only one point and in final he beat Antonio Lindbaeck, Kai Huckenbeck and Mikkel Michelsen. As everyone know, it was a symbolic moment, because 3 years ago, Hampel got injured in Gniezno. Then he spent about one year on recovery, but now „Mały” is coming back on the high level.

- I came to Gniezno without any block. I didn’t think about that fall and injury – he said.

In the middle of July, riders fighting in Speedway Euro Championship will come to Gustrow. For Hampel it will be special tournament, because for the first time he’ll start in Tauron SEC in foreign country. Since now, „Mały” took part in our cycle only in Toruń and Gniezno, wherein he was the best. In next few days we will know, if he can do the same abroad.

- I had a chance to start in Gustrow, but I don’t remember what competition it was. I have to say that it is specific, but it’s good for a fight in the field. The most important thing will be to find the best setups and the fastest lines. It doesn’t matter that competition will take place in other country. The most important things are form and preparation. I want to keep the high level now – said Hampel.

Hampel’s goals are very clear. He wants to rebuild his position on international level and make a progress. In Tauron Speedway Euro Championship he made 25% of plan. The way to title is still long, but the first step was made.

- It can be an impulse on international level. I’m very focused on SEC, especially that the lineup is equal and unexpectable – finished Hampel.
