Another Dane on the European top. Rider, who some years ago was one of the biggest talents in the world. Now there's the most important moment to show that hopes are not exaggerated. Will it be Mikkel Miechelsen’s year?
His skills were confrree by his results on mini version of speedway. Michelsen is two-times gold medalist of Youth Gold Trophy. Danes, who watched him since he started to race believed, that he is the new, huge champion.
Until today, he made his best results on classic speedway with his national teammates. In 2013, in Pardubice he won gold in U21 Team World Championships. Furthermore, as a junior, Michelsen made more fantastic results and that’s why he tried in his career starts in PGE Ekstraliga. Of course, he was on the top in individual torunaments too. He has medals in U21 World and European
Championships.
Unfortunately, in some previous years, Michelsen didn’t make any huge result as a senior. In 2014 he had a chance to make a debut in Speedway Grand Prix, but he didn’t win any race. In Polish league, he was Unia Leszno and Unia Tarnów rider, but nobody was satisfied with his scores. Now, he’s riding for Wybrzeże Geańsk in 1st eivision ane there he’s one of the best rieers.
