Niels Kristian Iversen has got the wild card for the third round of Individual European Championships, which takes place on the 9th of August in Holsted (Denmark, from the organizers of Speedway European Championships. Reserved riders will be Patrick Hougaard and Rasmus Jensen.
Maksims Bogdanovs hasn’t qualified to Speedway European Championships series but due to the injury of Grigorij Laguta, Latvian has already started twice – in Gustrow and Togliatti. Both starts were quite successful because both in Germany and Russia he scored 8 points.
The sixth rider of general classification of SEC, third in Togliatti, Russia, had a nasty crash in Sweden. He has right ankle sprain of the second degree with the damage of the tri - angular ligament. It sounds complicated but “Duzers” calms that he will manage to recover for another round of Speedway European Championships which is on the 9th of August in Holsted.
Danish city Kolding has become an official host city of the third round of SEC which takes place on the 9th of August at Moldow Speedway Arena in Holsted. Thanks to the agreement which was signed with One Sport, the city will be seen on promotional and branding materials and can fully use the promotional opportunities which are provided by SEC and transmission on Eurosport. It is Kolding where the whole SEC team and the riders will live.
Tuesday evening is reserved for Swedish Elitserien. Fans during the eleventh round had an opportunity to see really exciting match in which present champions met with vice – champions. The match Piraterna – Elit Vetlanda provided a lot of emotions and nobody could grumble. In the meeting between Dackarna and Smederna Patryk Dudek was injured.
Two tournaments of Speedway European Championships, two wins of Nicki Pedersen. The first one convincing, the second quite lucky but also deserved. Nicki Pedersen is seeking the European Champion title, the title which he lost last season at the very last moment.
Nicki Pedersen won the second round of the Speedway European Championships in Togliatti. On the podium were also Emil Sajfutdinow and Patryk Dudek. Dane maintained the leading position of general classification Speedway European Championships. Pedersen has one point ahead of Emil Sayfutdinov.

On the 16th July bikes of the riders, who are taking part in Speedway European Championships, started long journey to Togliatti, which is almost thousand kilometers from Moscow. It’s already this Saturday, on the 20th July at 8 p. m. (local time) when there is the second round of Individual European Championship.
Stal Gorzów beat Unibax Toruń in a postponed match of the tenth round of ENEA Ekstraliga. Riders from Gorzów won 53:37 but team from Toruń got bonus points. The best rider of the home team was Krzysztof Kasprzak, who lost only once with Emil Sajfutdinow and Niels Kristian Iversen, who lost in the fifteenth heat with Darcy Ward.
Togliatti appeared real hit the jackpot. Full stadium, great atmosphere and fight at each place of the track. Everybody with smile on a face recalls Russian round of SEC so it would be a sin not to come back to this great moments which we experienced last year.
On Tuesday evening there were two postponed matches of Swedish Elitserien. In the most interesting meeting, Piraterna Motala had an away win over Ikaros Smedernę Eskilstuna 47:43.in the second match Elit Vetlanda had a certain victory over Vastervik 53:37.
