Third SEC final in Gorican for polish riders. Impressive performance for Krzysztof Kasprzak who were racin' fantastic on the Zvonk Pavlic stadium and won the whole meeting. Great succes for Sebastian Ulamek who came back really strong after the injury and showed effective and nice speedway.
Krzysztof Kasprzak, that riding as a wild card won the third SEC final in Gorican, Croatia! Second place got Sebastian Ułamek. The lowest place on the podium Martin Vaculik from Slovakia.
Tomorrow in Gorican third Speedway European Championships final will be held. Preparations and organizing process is doing great, all things are covered and stadium is ready for the tournament: - On Sunday, one week before the meeting Speedway Club Unia had a special prices for tickets ( 1000 tickets in one hour were sold out ). Many schools are interested in this event, so as a club we decided to donate the tickets for kids - Petra Pavlic from the Speedway Club Unia speaks. There will be a plenty of attractions also – fireworks, Harley Davidson entrance, great Dj with lot's of good music and croatian celebrity speaker, so we all want to invite every speedway fan for our SEC final. - Petra finishes.
After four weeks brake we are back to action in the Speedway European Championships. This time SEC will be held in the croatian Gorican where the best riders in the World were racin' many times. Now Zvonko Pavlic's venue is taken by One Sport company from Torun and the fastest speedway riders in Europe also. There were many changes on the starting list beacause of many riders injuries. Moreover there is still plenty of action to come. Eurosport television will provide live feed from that event as usual. Everything begins on Saturday evening on 7 pm.
The Speedway European Championship will resume this weekend after a four-week break, and Jan Stæchmann caught up with Nicki Pedersen who is currently in second place in the overall standings.
Leon Madsen, who originally was to replace Kjastas Puodżuks ultimately did not go in Gorican. Danish rider withdrew from the tournament SEC as a cause of illness. In view of the absence Madsen, Grzegorz Zengota is entitled to start, and Polish rider will take place under the tenth. The change has already been approved by Frank Ziegler.
September 14 in Gorican will be the third tournament of the SEC. Already draw in the starting numbers for the tournament. Because of the injury to the Millennium Stadium Speedway start several reserve riders. Recall that the wild card for the competition in Croatia was Krzysztof Kasprzak. Reserve will be: Łukasz Sówka (Poland) and Renato Cvetko (Croatia). It's worth to remind that in the tournament for the next season stays only top three riders.
Couple days ago we informed that Robert Miśkowiak will miss SEC final in Gorican.Polish international refused to start in Gorican 'cause the next day he had a league meeting in Daugavpils. In that case he was suspended by the UEM-TRC and because of that he couldn't race in Gorican and in Rzeszów aswell.
From Sunday we know who will start in the great final in the polish Enea Extraleague. Unibax Toruń who eliminated Dospel Włókniarz Częstochowa and Stelmet Falubaz Zielona Góra who eliminated Unia Tarnów.
Krzystof Kasprzak who collected the Wild Card for SEC in Gorican was born July the 18th 1984 in Leszno. Hi is a son of well known in polish speedway Zenon Kasprzak. Speedway license Krzysztof is havin' from year 2000.
Jaroslaw Hampel won the 10th GP round in slovenian Krsko. Second and third were SEC superstars Tai Woffinden and Tomasz Gollob. Tai is very close to the world championship thanks to Emil Sayfutdinov injury in league match in Torun. British international have 20 points advantage before two last rounds and only the earthquake could take gold away from him.
Two round of SEC are after us. Exactly two in front of. Gorican and Rzeszów. Those two cities on September will have two final competitions of Speedway European Championships. Very important case is that only top three riders will stay in SeC for the 2014 season without any eliminations.
