After succesful campaign of winning SEC Challenge with maximum points, many saw the dark horse of European Championship in Artem Laguta. However, it was the first round that proved the big distance between challenge and the main series and the fact, that getting points would not be that easy.
At the end of the season, Przemysław Pawlicki finally reached the final heat. However he wasn't able to stand on the podium, but his result proved that there's still a lot of potential in him. Surely, he didn't disappoint anyone, but his 8th position in the overall classification probably is not satisfying for Przemek himself.
Started his career at minitracks (speedway dedicated to the riders under 16 y.o.) and in 1995 became the Individual Danish Champion. One year later, he was titled as the Junior Danish Champ, but at the classic tracks. Right after first, inaugural round of Speedway European Championships, we noticed the fact that Nicki Pedersen's win can make him worry a bit. As it turned out, in fact, triumph in Toruń did not bring the ultimate goal and Dane didn't become the European Champion.

Many treated his advancing to the SEC as a surprise, but Vaclav Milik's beginning of the series was quite good. 13 points after two rounds were giving a solid chance to think about promoting to the cycle again in the next year.
